Happy New Year! Welcome to the 2022 series Wander Wednesday Weekly Photos! I was able to take a few amazing trips towards the end of 2021 and this month I’ll highlight the best of those experiences. All travel was conducted following safety protocols enforced at the time. Please continue to do your part to keep yourself and those around you safe!

The morning sun shines through the Cinquantenaire Arch in Jubelpark, Brussels, Belgium. This arch is the second largest triumphal arch in the world, (after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris) built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Belgium’s independence, celebrated in 1880, although the arch took 25 more years to complete. The large buildings on either side of the arch hold several museums, including the Army Museum. The park has several events during the year.
