Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

The Covid-19 pandemic prevented us from traveling the world the way we used to.  If you choose to travel, please heed government guidelines for health and safety. Be sure to check the health situation in the place you are going and be prepared with appropriate supplies and resources. Remember the health measures that you take to protect yourself also protect those around you! If you can’t travel now, you can still dream about where to go when you can!

As the year winds down, this month’s photos reflect some great family vacation spots. When you are ready to travel again, I’m here to help!

tent rocks landscape New Mexico

The Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument in New Mexico is a fascinating landscape in which to hike. The eroded sandstone pillars do look like weird tents pitched between the hills. It would make a good day trip for families who like to get out and do some relatively easy hiking just southwest of Santa Fe. Our trip to Santa Fe and Taos, NM, was our last trip before being locked down due to Covid-19.  Hope to get back there again!
