It’s full on summer in the Northern Hemisphere, so I hope your travels are taking you to the places you love the most at this time of year! Beach? Mountains? Down Under for winter delights? It’s all possible when you plan for it! Enjoy!
This month we are highlighting “Small Delights.” Sometimes the tiniest things bring the most joy. Just take some extra time to really look!

Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

baby cuttlefish in a tank

These baby cuttlefish were happily swimming in their tank in the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, Australia. I had never seen live cuttlefish before and they were fascinating to watch.  I know they are popular fare in many parts of the world. It’s fun to learn about local marine life when traveling to different climates and regions. Fun Fact: The Greco-Roman name for these creatures was “sepia”, and artists prized the reddish-brown ink that was ejected when the animals were threatened. The reddish-brown color is known as “sepia” today.
