August is generally the last time to take a vacation before schools begin and the fall schedules take over the calendar. For one exhausting but exhilarating week, I’ll be attending the Virtuoso Travel Week conference in Las Vegas. Not a vacation, but a great learning experience!
This month’s photos have a floral theme! Enjoy!
Wander Wednesday
“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien
If you’ve followed the blog for a while, you may remember that daffodils are my favorite spring flower. I used to get scolded for picking the neighbor’s when I was young. Now that I live in Texas, I don’t get to see daffodils often and have never tried to grow them. This spring I was lucky enough to travel to several places where they were in bloom! I didn’t travel to see the daffodils specifically, but it was a happy accident of timing that I did. Maybe I should make a point to travel in the spring to places where I know I’ll see these little beauties. Have you ever traveled to see a particular plant?
